Can I rent an item for less than a week?

Yes! We don't have a minimum rental period, so you're welcome to rent an item for just a day or two if that's all you need. However, rentals shorter than one week are charged at the full weekly rate.

How does the rental process work?

Once you submit a reservation request, we’ll check availability. If your item is available, you’ll receive an email confirmation with a link to provide contact and delivery details and pay the first months' rental fee. Once that’s complete, your reservation is confirmed, and we’ll schedule a delivery time that works best for you.

What condition is the baby gear in?

We take great pride in the quality of our rental inventory and only offer items that meet our standards for safety, cleanliness, and condition. All gear is thoroughly cleaned, inspected, and safety-checked between rentals.Most of our items are in new or like-new condition. As with any rental service, some products may show minor cosmetic signs of normal use, such as small scratches or scuffs, but we do not rent out items with significant wear, damage, or anything that could affect safety or functionality.As parents ourselves, we wouldn't rent out anything we wouldn't feel comfortable using with our own child.

How do you ensure car seats are still safe after being rented?

Your child’s safety is our top priority. To ensure every car seat remains safe throughout its rental life, we take several important steps:
Renters must also agree to notify us immediately if the car seat is involved in any kind of vehicular accident, in any vehicle.
When a car seat is returned, it is physically inspected by a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST).
If we suspect a seat may have been in an accident that wasn’t disclosed, it will never be rented out again.
Every car seat is re-checked to ensure it meets Transport Canada’s safety standards before being made available to rent again.
If a seat cannot meet those standards for any reason, it is permanently removed from our inventory.

How do you ensure the baby gear is safe and clean?

Your baby’s safety and comfort are our top priorities. All rental items are cleaned and inspected for damage twice: once upon return before going into storage, and again right before delivery to the next client.

What kind of cleaning solutions do you use?

All cleaning products are all-natural, scent-free, hypoallergenic, and safe for sensitive baby skin.

Are the items safe and up to date?

Yes. Every item we rent meets or exceeds the current standards set by the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act (CCPSA). We track all manufacturer recalls and remove any affected products immediately.

What happens if an item I’ve rented gets recalled while I’m using it?

If there’s a recall, we’ll contact you right away. We’ll arrange pickup of the recalled item at your earliest convenience and provide you with a safe replacement at no extra cost.

When should I request my items?

We recommend submitting your request as early as possible! We do book up fast and we operate on a first come first serve basis.

We recommend reserving your items for at least two weeks before your due date to ensure you have everything you need for when baby arrives.

We understand these things happen. If this is the case, please contact us and we will work with you to get your items delivered as soon as possible.

What if my baby damages an item?

We know life with babies can get messy. Normal wear and tear is included in your rental fee. For more significant damage, an additional fee for repair/replacement may be required.

Yes, we deliver everything directly to you. We’ll also make sure any items that require setup are ready to use.

Can I change my order or extend my rental?

Absolutely. You can add items or extend your rental period at any time, subject to availability.

Where do you deliver, and what does it cost?

Accepted Answer

We offer free delivery within HRM, East Hants, Truro areas as well as to the airport between the hours of 8AM and 8PM. Depending upon availability, we may be able to accept out-of-hours delivery times with a delivery fee of $20.

Can I see the items before I rent?

We don’t have a public showroom, but we provide photos, descriptions, and details for every product. If you have any specific questions, please send us an email, we’re happy to help.

What is your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

You can cancel your reservation up to one month before your scheduled delivery date for a full refund.
Cancellations made between one month and two weeks before delivery will receive a 50% refund of the reservation deposit.
Cancellations made less than two weeks before delivery will forfeit the deposit.
